QUICK UPDATE

Yesterday, (March 27th) was a day of great need. Many kids came through the center. Some carrying their possessions in plastic bags and some with nothing at all. The joy of watching a child who has very little to nothing, open up a backpack with things that are just for them is indescribable. While I wish this operation was not necessary, I continue to be blown away by the generosity of time and resources from our crews, partners, and communities.

We also met with a couple partner airline spouses who live in Germany. They went with us to the refugee center and gave out backpacks directly to kids too. They are working on procuring supplies in country, although reasonable backpacks seem to be a tough find. This will be a wonderful partnership moving forward and hopefully help to continue to streamline and expand our capabilities.

Thank you, your families, and your communities for continuing to support this effort. YOU are making a difference in children’s lives.

Good people helping others.

Quick update March 30th, 2022:

Distributed about 100 backpacks over the past few days. Love seeing the smiles as kids discover what’s inside.

Families and crews from another US Logistics carrier showed up in a big way today, building backpacks, donating needed supplies, and volunteering their continued support. Super grateful for their partnership.

Thank you again for your continued support. I continue to be blown away by everyone’s generosity of resources and time. Amazing group of volunteers and supporters!!
