Operation BackPack4Kids (BP4K) is a nonprofit organization that provides backpacks filled with essential and comfort items to children affected by war, natural disasters, and displacement. The organization is 100% volunteer-run and was founded by UPS pilots.

Each backpack is carefully packed with items selected to meet the basic needs of children in crisis. Contents include: A blanket, water bottle, hygiene kit, toys, a book and crayons and and a snack bag.

BP4K serves children across the United States including: Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina, Texas, Alaska, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Tennessee. BP4K has also delivered backpacks and aid internationally to Ukraine, Germany, Turkey, and Poland.

Yes. BP4K is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by U.S. law.

BP4K is led entirely by volunteers. Many of the volunteers are airline pilots who donate their time, logistics expertise, and support to build and deliver backpacks.
